ScanOftheDay™

Both Qnow™ and ScanOfTheDay™ work the same way and they will make your business Clickable!
A CRITICAL issue is the Page Load Speed.
If someone points their phone at your code and nothing happens immediately, they are gone.
Qnow™ is the Evolution of the QR Code!

Building your system
Main Program

We recommend creating a file on your computer so you can save every time you change your Link. This way, if it's ever lost you have a backup.
We'll create your unique link and show you how to set up for One Click to Publish so your system is live.

Mobirise5

As you have seen, we have combined several systems to give you the best of all worlds.
Page Load Speed is critical and our systems meet the 1 sec. threshold, which is critical.

The Process for the D.I.Y. User.

First, Download Mobirise.

  • You need to get the program on your computer.
  • There is a slight glitch so you'll need to copy https://mobirise.com/history.html and paste it to your browser bar (NOT a search engine) to open the download link.
  • Downloading gives you TOTAL control over every aspect of your system.
  • Test publish to see how it looks by clicking on the EYE at the top next to Publish.
  • They give you the option of adding paid versions and the best way to go is the all packages version which gives you everything and is much cheaper than buying individual programs. For now you can stay free.

Choose your Password.

  • Let us know your choice for a password and we'll create a link with your password so you just One Click to publish.
  • Send it to BizHelp@Outlook.com
  • Since we are hosting on our fast servers, and you just click to publish, you can make as many changes as you need.

Create your Content.

  • Using the Drag-n-Drop feature, do your thing.
  • For more information, WebEvolv.com.
  • You Save to make sure you always have it, and then we set it up with One Click to Publish.

Notes on Downloading

Copy this link: https://mobirise.com/history.html then Paste it to the address bar on your computer, NOT a search engine and NOT Google Search. The Address Bar. This copy and paste process needs to be done as many times just clicking on the link just sends you to the top of this page.

Create a file on your computer so you can save your changes and updates, "Local Drive Folder" button. It just takes one click to publish to that file. This is where you save all your work in case the program loses it.

On the diagram you will see the buttons, including the FTP button. This is the one we help you set up for One Clock to Publish and go Live.

Another cool thing, Mobirise doesn't force you to use their Logo on the Free product, unlike every other system out there.
Not only are they using AMP, they are using the latest Bootstrap TECHNOLOGY for unparalleled speed. This means your link can work with or without a strong internet connection, or even if there isn't one as it can work on the cellular signal.

Information

We use Mobirise5 for our Qnow™ system, websites, and several other things.

Right now your goal is to just get the FREE program version. Down the road you can decide if you need a paid package although you might consider it when they have their annual <$100 sale for All Options.

Publish Button

Top Right of your Program

You never use the very top one as that will publish your site to Mobirise offshore and their servers are quite slow, plus you have no control.

The Local Drive folder is where you publish your site for safe keeping, do this occasionally. You merely create a file and publish to that file.

FTP is what you will use for 1-click to publish.
We send you what to add in each of the two lines.

The Process

You will actually be creating a special link that you control, adding or removing information as you need. There are no limits to the number of changes you make, the content is totally up to you.
But first you need to take a subscription so we know how many Qnow™ codes you require. If you have more than one, each has it's own separate link and log-in, etc.

You must choose a password so we can create your link to our servers. We then set up your link to work with your One-Click to Publish.

Because speed is critical we host your link on our special servers. How we do this is one of the keys to why our system works when the older QR codes don't work so well.

Get us the information you need for your code. We create the code and you'll get two versions, a simple code and a code on a flyer.
Let us know the type of flyer you need and we'll create it for your approval.

You are now ready to begin. Watch the videos below.

A Few Notes

  • Mobirise gives you more for free than others even have to sell! But they are in the business of selling subscriptions so you will get solicitations to upgrade.
  • You can stay free as long as you like and the FREE version is probably all you'll need at this time.
  • If you decide to upgrade we strongly recommend the All Inclusive package because purchasing by the individual blocks is just too expensive.
  • Any upgrades are for an Annual Subscription.
  • If you have your own domain name we'll show you how to link to your system.
  • If you don't have a domain name we'll give you a subdomain from several we host.
  • We will also host your site on our servers.
  • We create your QnowTM code and a flyer if you choose. This process comes after we create your individual link because we need to direct the Code to your unique link.

A Few Tricks

  • You can preview how your site will look on the different devices from the top menu.
  • Test publish to see how it looks by clicking on the EYE at the top next to Publish.
  • When you make a change in the Navigation bar and have clicked OK when it asks you if your bar is global, it's updated on every page automatically.
  • Add pages from the drop down on the three lines at the top left.
  • When you add a page, click on the Gear icon for that page and change your Title and URL link. You MUST leave the .html as that's how the system finds the page and you can't have any upper case letters in the .html page. You can in the title. The title will appear in the address bar when someone is looking at your site and the .html link is how the system finds it.
  • Click "Sites" then the gear on your site, and add your logo to your site so it shows up on search engines.
  • When in "Sites" and the drop down Gear for you site, under "Common", you can change your site name. Never click on the "connect" button as that publishes your site to the Mobirise system and you don't want that. If you mistakenly do that you can erase it on that page, which just unpublishes from them, it doesn't erase your site.
  • Sometimes after you get going when you click "Publish" after a bit an error message may appear "no such file or directory open." That usually means there is an image somewhere in your site that the system can't find and many times it's a background image that isn't really needed. You can search for it and correct it or just click Ignore and let it publish which will be OK.
This will also happen if you change where you store your backup of the program because the system recognizes the initial storage location. Keep in mind that if you ever change the location of your storage location, you must do so by creating a new folder and publishing to that folder. Even if you copy and move over the graphics the system can't find them because the links in your site were created to the old folder location.
